Last month I participated in a Twitter chat with U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Ann Stock. Assistant Secretary Stock leads the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, in charge of exchanges between the U.S. and other countries. She invited a Pakistani student studying in North Carolina, Anum Shazad, and I to talk about our time away from our home countries and adapting to life in another culture. It was lots of fun, and exhilarating as I raced to crunch my thoughts into 140 characters and respond in time. You can see the full conversation below.
